The exhibition pays tribute to the Impressionist artistic movement, celebrating its 150th anniversary since its inception.
Produced by Navigare srl and organized with the support of the scientific committee composed of Gilles Chazal (former Director of Musée du Petit Palais, Member of the École du Louvre), Vincenzo Sanfo (Curator of international exhibitions, expert on Impressionism), and Maithe Valles-Bled (former Director of Musée de Chartres and Musee Paul Valéry) and directed by Vittorio Sgarbi, it presents a comprehensive gallery of about 200 works, including paintings, drawings, watercolors, sculptures, ceramics, and engravings from private collections, thus unknown to the public.
The exhibition guides the audience through the stylistic evolution of Paul Cézanne and Pierre-Auguste Renoir, taking into account the different trajectories the two artists followed throughout their careers.
