Located in the Esquilino quarter is the CREF (Centro Studi Ricerca Enrico Fermi) – Enrico Fermi Research Study Centre - and the Historical Physics Museum
We are in the building the famous via Panisperma; it was here that Enrico Fermi and a group of young physicists performed the first experiments on radioactivity induced by neutrons, fundamental for the future development of nuclear energy.
Not only the history of physics, but that of the entire 20th century was written in the Esquilino quarter. Banner photo by Roma Fotografia
